Congratulations to Lauren Shepard of Penn State University on successfully defending her thesis on June 12, 2026. Her thesis, titled “First-Principles and Molecular Simulation Insights into Interfacial Structure and Transport in Hybrid Materials,” was completed with Dr. Susan Sinnott serving as her advisor.
Lauren’s research was supported by the Fast and Cooperative Ion Transport in Polymer-Based Electrolytes (FaCT) Energy Frontier Research Center and Penn State Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC).
